ISKCON India has clarified that it has not filed any legal case related to Bangladesh. This statement comes amid recent tensions in Bangladesh involving ISKCON and the arrest of Hindu leader Chinmoy Krishna Das. Das, who was once associated with ISKCON but was expelled, was arrested on sedition charges, leading to clashes and calls for a ban on ISKCON in Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh High Court recently refused a petition to ban ISKCON, despite allegations that the organisation is a "radical" or "fundamentalist" group inciting communal unrest.

ISKCON India emphasises that it is a religious and non-political organization that does not interfere in political matters. In Bangladesh, ISKCON has maintained its support for Chinmoy Krishna Das's rights to advocate peacefully for Hindu rights, while clarifying that Das does not officially represent ISKCON.

The situation in Bangladesh remains tense, with ongoing debates about ISKCON's activities and the broader context of religious and communal issues in the country.
