India, France Hold Bilateral Dialogue On Disarmament And Non-Proliferation In Paris

India and France held a Bilateral Dialogue on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation in Paris on February 14, 2025. The discussions focused on various critical areas, including:

The Indian delegation was led by Muanpuii Saiawi, Joint Secretary for Disarmament and International Security Affairs at the Ministry of External Affairs, while the French delegation was headed by Guillaume Ollagnier, Director for Strategic Affairs, Security, and Disarmament at France's Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
This meeting followed a recent visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to France, where he co-chaired an Artificial Intelligence Action Summit with French President Emmanuel Macron. During this summit, they emphasized their commitment to leveraging AI for beneficial social, economic, and environmental outcomes.
