White House Press Secretary Says Trump Admin Deported 'Aliens'
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt recently stated that the Trump administration has initiated a significant deportation operation, emphasizing that "all" illegal aliens in the United States are considered criminals.
During her first press briefing, Leavitt asserted that the administration is actively removing "heinous individuals" from communities and warned potential illegal entrants that they would face detention and deportation upon arrival in the U.S.
The operation began shortly after President Trump's inauguration on January 20, 2025, with reports indicating that hundreds of migrants were arrested and deported using military aircraft. On January 23, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted raids in sanctuary cities, resulting in the detention of 538 undocumented immigrants, including those with serious criminal records.
Leavitt highlighted this as part of Trump's commitment to intensifying efforts against illegal immigration, a promise made during his campaign.
In her remarks, Leavitt emphasised the administration's focus on public safety and the removal of individuals convicted of serious crimes, including sexual offenses and violent acts. She noted that these actions are part of a broader strategy to secure the U.S. border and enforce immigration laws more strictly than in previous administrations.
