Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is currently on a six-day tour of the United Kingdom and Germany, aimed at boosting foreign investment in his state. On November 25, 2024, he received a "prestigious" welcome at the British Parliament, where he was accompanied by British MP Baroness Sandip K Verma. This visit is part of his broader strategy to position Madhya Pradesh as a significant player in the global investment landscape.

During his time at the Parliament, Yadav paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi's statue located at Parliament Square, Westminster. He is also scheduled to host a lunch at the Taj Hotel in St. James' Court for British MPs, including Baroness Verma, Lord Kulveer Singh, and Bob Blackman, to discuss potential investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

Yadav's itinerary includes meetings with various stakeholders to explore industrial investment prospects and engage with the Indian diaspora. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception he received from the Indian High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami and members of the Indian community in London upon his arrival. Following his UK engagements, Yadav plans to travel to Germany on November 27 for further discussions on investment opportunities.
