Yemen's Houthi Militia Attack Pakistan-Bound Ship In Red Sea

Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi militia attacked Mediterranean Shipping Company's United VIII which was on its way to Karachi in the Red Sea
Yemen's Houthi militia have claimed responsibility for the December 27 attack on the container ship MSC United VIII which was on its way to Karachi in Pakistan from King Abdullah Port, Saudi Arabia.
Confirming the incident which happened in the Red Sea, the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) informed that all crew members were safe. MSC stated that vessel assessments are underway and until safety is ensured vessels booked for Suez transit will be rerouted via Cape of Good Hope.
These are the latest attacks in a series of drone and missile strikes by the group since the Israel-Hamas conflict began on October 7.
