'Vendetta Politics': Congress has been attacking Modi government since the recent Galwan clash which resulted in the death of at least 20 Indian soldiers. Rather than targeting China, Centre is attacking Congress: Manish Tewari. Unrelenting persecution of Ahmed Patel latest example of vendetta politics: Tewari
New Delhi: Congress has once again trained guns at the Central government accusing it of "vendetta politics" and not handling the border dispute with China proactively. The grand old party has also called the questioning of party leader Ahmed Patel in a money laundering case "unrelenting persecution".

VENDETTA POLITICS
Congress leader Manish Tewari took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, "Rather than target CHINA Govt targeting CONGRESS Unrelenting persecution of Ahmed Patel latest example OFF VENDETTA POLITICS."
Tewari's dig has come in the wake of the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) grilling of Ahmed Patel in connection with a money laundering case against a Gujarat-based pharmaceutical company Sterling Biotech.
The ED's investigation has revealed that Sterling Biotech Ltd (SBL) Sandesara Group and its main promoters namely Nitin Sandesara, Chetan Sandesara, and Deepti Sandesara have allegedly cheated more than Rs 14,500 crore.
Reportedly, Ahmed Patel's name surfaced during the investigation and the ED has been grilling him ever since.
Not only Ahmed Patel, his son, Faisal Patel, and his son-in-law, Irfan Siddiqui, have been named by a corporate executive and are being questioned by the ED in connection with the money laundering case.
Congress has been alleging that the Modi government is trying to divert people's attention from the Galwan incident by doing "vendetta politics" against its leaders. Recently, Rahul Gandhi has gone on to allege that PM Modi has "surrendered" Indian territory to China since the Galwan clash that left 20 Indian soldiers dead at the hands of Chinese troops.
