Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A MiG-21 trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed near the Gwalior airbase in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday morning. Both the pilots managed to eject safely.

While one of the pilots flying the plane was a Group Captain, the other was a squadron leader.

The aircraft was on a routine mission. The incident took place at around 10 am, sources said.

A court of inquiry has been ordered by the Indian Air Force to find the cause of the accident.
