ITBP personnel performing yoga bare-chested in -10 degree Celsius

On the occasion of International Yoga Day today (21 June) the Indo-Tibetian Border Police (ITBP) and Indian Army personnel performed Yoga early morning in sub-zero temperature conditions in one of the harshest landscapes known to man.

As reported by ANI, the ITPB personnel were captured performing Yoga in altitudes ranging from 14,000 feet to 18,000 feet, in locations like Leh, Laddakh and Rohtang Pass.

Here are few of pictures of them displaying extreme fitness to perform Yoga in one of the most testing climatic circumstances.

ITBP personnel also performed Yoga exercises in Northern Ladakh at altitude of 18,000 feet above sea level in -20 degree Celsius temperature.

Like their ITBP counterparts the Indian Army personnel too performed Yoga at various Himalayan outposts in India.
