Chennai: The country will step into a major milestone in space science with the launch of Chandrayaan-2, India’s second lunar mission, between July 9 to 16 and it is expected land on Moon on September 6, 2019, said ISRO chairman K. Sivan.

He recalled that India is the first country in the world to find out presence of water in Moon with the mission Chandrayaan-1, about ten years ago. The ISRO will launch PSLV C-46 shortly.
