BALASORE: Amidst prevailing tension between India and Pakistan, security was on Friday beefed up at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur, in Odisha’s Balasore district.

ITR director Binay Kumar said that extra security measures had been put in place at the ITR adding that electronic fencing, coastal surveillance radars, infra-red imagery and total guidance system are kept on alert.

It came days after the Centre banned the outfit on grounds that it was 'in close touch' with militant groups.
