Pakistan's ministry of external affairs said that its website was not accessible for users outside Pakistan and blamed India for the hacking.

Several reports even claimed that the Pakistan Army website was also hacked for a brief period of time.

Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday claimed that its official website was hacked and made inaccessible for users outside the country.

A report in Pakistan's leading newspaper, DAWN, quoted ministry spokesperson Dr. Mihammad Faisal saying, "The website is functioning without any issues in Pakistan. However, visitors to the website from Holland, Australia, Britain, and Saudi Arabia are facing difficulty opening it."

DAWN further reported that ministry sources believed the hacking attempts to be of Indian origin.

The hacking comes three days after at least 40 CRPF personnel were killed in a suicide terrorist attack in Pulwama, Kashmir by terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed. After which India has withdrawn the Most Favoured Nation tag given to Pakistan in 1996 and has hiked customs duty on all Pakistan good entering India by 200%.
