After the February 14 Pulwama terror attack, Pakistan-based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility for the shameful suicide blast that killed 40 CRPF personnel

Amid a war of words between India and Pakistan over the devastating Pulwama terror attack, Pakistan rail minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad targeted an India Today TV anchor, saying, "Now you see what we can do with terrorists."

Hitting out at India Today TV journalist Gaurav Sawant, Pakistan rail minister wrote on Twitter: "do u still remember ur terrorist spy Kulbushan yadev..? Now u can see what we can do with terrorist (sic)".

Sheikh Rashid was referring to former Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav who was given a death sentence in Pakistan after being accused of being an Indian spy waging war against Pakistan.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is hearing India's petition to stay the death sentence against Jadhav, in which the government has maintained that Jadhav was a former naval officer who was abducted from Iran and sentenced to death in Pakistan.

Pakistan minister Sheikh Rashid's Twitter rant gains further significance as the Jadhav case continues to be heard in the ICJ amid growing tension between the neighbours.

After the February 14 Pulwama terror attack, Pakistan-based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility for the shameful suicide blast that killed 40 CRPF personnel.

While the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) pulled up Pakistan saying they should immediately stop shielding terrorists like Masood Azhar, who heads the Jaish, Pakistan has repeatedly denied its involvement and asked India to show evidence to prove the allegations.

On Tuesday, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan threatened India that they will retaliate if attacked by Indian forces.
