India Slams Pak For 'Vulgar Display' of Injured IAF Officer; Advises Islamabad To Return IAF Officer Immediately

On Wednesday, the Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan was summoned by MEA to lodge a strong protest at the unprovoked act of aggression by Pakistan against India.
In a strongly-worded statement, India slammed Pakistan for violating Indian airspace and targeting military posts which is in contrast to India’s non-military anti-terror preemptive strike at a JeM camp in Balakot.
New Delhi pointed out that it was unfortunate that instead of acting against terrorists on its own soil, Pak has acted with aggression against India.
India also took exception to the vulgar display of an injured personnel of the IAF, pointing out it’s in violation of all International Humanitarian Law and Geneva Convention.
A dossier was also handed over to the Pak side with specific details of JeM complicity in Pulwama terror attack and presence of JeM terror camps and its leadership in Pakistan.
An IAF pilot is "missing in action" and a Pakistani fighter jet has been shot down, New Delhi said on Wednesday as fears of war darkened India-Pakistan relations with Islamabad launching retaliatory strikes and claiming it has arrested an Indian pilot in its territory.
