Airstrikes Should Continue Until Terrorism Is Completely Eliminated In Pakistan, Says Martyr's Wife
People attend a candle light vigil to pay tribute to Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who were killed in the suicide bombing in Pulwama
The wife of CRPF Jawan killed in the February 14 Pulwama terror attack today demanded that the Narendra Modi government and our forces should continue the airstrikes until terrorism is completely finished in Pakistan.
After the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) violated the Indian airspace in retaliation to the airstrike carried out to destroy the terror camps in Balakot, the tensions between both the countries are at an all-time high.
Meanwhile, the wife of CRPF jawan killed in the February 14 Pulwama terror attack today demanded that the Narendra Modi government and our forces should continue the airstrikes until terrorism is completely finished in Pakistan.
Speaking to India Today, Neeraj, wife of slain CRPF Jawan Pradeep Yadav said, "Pakistan has violated our airspace to target the military installations. Efforts should be made to bring back the Indian Air Force wing commander in Pakistan's custody."
"We want our forces to retaliate very strongly so that our neighbour cannot muster the courage to carry out any attack on Indian soil in the future. We are very grateful to the Air Force for carrying out the airstrike in Pakistan to destroy a terror camp, but the action should continue to eliminate the terrorism completely."
"PM Modi has taken a few positive steps by exposing Pakistan globally and withdrawing security of the Hurriyat leaders. The CRPF Jawans killed in the line of duty should also be given a martyr status to honour their sacrifices. We have engaged in dialogue with Pakistan so many times in the past but nothing has happened. They only understand when we take strong military action," an emotional Neeraj said.
Her father Vishram Singh said, "My son-in-law along with 40 brave CRPF Jawans sacrificed their lives for the nation. We are very happy that airstrikes were conducted across the border to destroy terror camps. However, such actions should continue to teach Pakistan a lesson. It is quite heartbreaking that our Jawans are losing their lives while safeguarding the country."
Pradeep, who was martyred in the Pulwama terror attack, is survived by his wife and two daughters. He had made a last phone call to his wife minutes before the unfortunate incident took place.
