Two Hizbul Mujahideen Terrorists Arrested, One Turns Out To Be BSF Jawan
The Jammu and Kashmir police have successfully arrested two accused named Shakir Ahmad Wani and Ghulam Mustafa Sheikh. Both the accused are residents of Tekipora, Lolab.
Srinagar: In a major crackdown, two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists were arrested by Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police, in a raid carried out last night in Lolab area in Kupwara district of North Kashmir.
Shockingly, one of the accused turned out to be a BSF Jawan.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have successfully arrested two accused named Shakir Ahmad Wani and Ghulam Mustafa Sheikh. Both the accused are residents of Tekipora, Lolab.
In an exclusive interview with MyNation, a senior police official said that arrested BSF jawan Shakir Wani is posted outside the state and was arrested while he was on leave. The official said, "Both of them were providing support to terrorists and luring local youth to join terror ranks."
BSF sources told MyNation that the arrested BSF Jawan was a relative of Manan Wani, top Hizbul Commander and AMU research scholar from Kupwara of Jammu and Kashmir, who joined terror outfit in January, this year.
