This invited the wrath of his Pakistani fans who slammed him for singing an Indian song at their Independence Day Parade. They took to social media to express their disgruntlement.
It was also being said that Atif refused to hold the Pakistani flag, which irked the fans further. However, the singer cleared the air in a statement shared on his Twitter account and called the reports "Fake Propaganda".
