Terrorists Abduct Policeman From Home In Kashmir’s Pulwama

Special police officer (SPO) Mudasir Ahmad Lone was abducted by the militants from his home at Chainattar on Friday. Militants have abducted a policeman from his home in Tral area of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Saturday.

“A manhunt is on to trace the SPO. He was working as a cook in Awantipora police lines,” a police officer said.
Earlier on July 21, the body of police constable Mohammad Salim Shah was found with multiple bullet injuries in Qaimoh village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, a day after he was abducted by unidentified gunmen from his house.
Shah was the 25th policeman killed by militants in J&K this year.
