A BSF soldier succumbed to his injuries after he was hit by Pakistani sniper fire in Jammu and Kashmir's Tangdhar region.

Constable SK Murmu was deployed at forward defence location (FDL) post in the Line of Control in J&K's Tangdhar.

He was seriously injured after the sniper hit him in the stomach.

The soldier was deployed at a forward defended location (FDL) along the LoC in the Tangdhar region of Jammu and Kashmir.
