The International Court of Justice has fixed time limits for the filing of written pleadings by India and Pakistan in Kulbhushan Jadhav case.

India has time until April 17, 2018, whereas Pakistan will have to submit their pleadings before July 17, 2018.

A media report expressed doubts over the hearing of the case this year.

Stating that the ICJ judges will get two-month summer vacations in the month of August and after the vacation, the court will hear cases that have already been fixed before it.

Pakistan has time and again rejected Indis's request for granting consular access to Jadhav.

Recently Pakistan allowed Jadhav's mother and wife to visit Pakistan and meet him.
